What is CBD?
CBD (cannabidiol) is a non-psychoactive cannabinoid usually extracted from hemp plants. It works by interacting with your endocannabinoid system — a vast network of receptors that influence your overall wellness. It's not the part of the cannabis plant that makes you feel "high."
How much does shipping cost?
For most of Canada, we offer a simple $12 flat rate using Canada Post Expedited Parcel (typically 3–8 business days) or Xpresspost for $18 (typically 2–3 business days). For remote destinations — Newfoundland, Labrador, NWT, Nunavut, the Yukon, and very northern regions — flat rates are $15 (Expedited) and $25 (Xpresspost). Orders over $120 qualify for free shipping.
How long before my order ships?
We usually ship in one to two business days (Monday to Friday, excluding holidays). The shipping cutoff is 1PM Pacific Time — any order placed after 1PM PST won't ship until the next business day. If a product is out of stock, you'll be notified by email with an ETA.
How long will shipping take?
Expedited: 2–5 business days (BC/AB); 3–8 business days (rest of Canada). Xpresspost: 1–3 business days (BC/AB); 2–5 business days (rest of Canada). These are Canada Post estimates and may vary during peak periods.
Is your shipping packaging discreet?
Yes. All orders are discreetly packaged using a standard Canada Post mailing label and a padded envelope, a box sealed in a tamper-proof security bag, or a generic shipping box. The return address uses a discreet numbered company name. A packing slip/invoice is printed behind the shipping label.
Do you accept credit card payments?
Yes, we accept Visa, Mastercard, and Interac e-Transfer. All prices are in Canadian (CAD) funds. Orders will be billed from "MELLOW" on your credit card statement. We NEVER see or save your credit card number — our payment processing is fully PCI compliant.
How do I pay by Interac e-Transfer?
Select Interac e-Transfer at checkout. You'll receive instructions by email with the recipient email address and a security question/answer. Send the transfer from your online banking and your order will be processed once payment is confirmed.
Can I use a VISA or MasterCard Prepaid Card?
Yes. We have tested and confirmed that Vanilla Pre-Paid VISA Gift Cards work with our payment processor.
Do you ship outside of Canada?
No, sorry. We only ship within Canada to residents who are 19 years of age or older.
What's the difference between the CBD oils?
Mellow Purity (1000mg) uses pure CBD isolate — zero THC. Purity PLUS (1200mg and 2400mg) is broad spectrum with other cannabinoids, terpenes, and added CBD — no detectable THC, with a hint of mint. Broad Spectrum (600mg and 1200mg) are whole-plant extracts with no THC. Full Spectrum (600mg and 1200mg) are whole-plant extracts containing 0.3% THC or less — delivering the full entourage effect.
Do you have lab tests on your products?
Yes. Lab results (Certificates of Analysis) for all Mellow oils and extracts are available on request. Contact us for the latest COA.
What's your return policy?
Simple: we want happy customers. We offer a 60-day satisfaction guarantee. If you're not satisfied, let us know the reason and we'll send you an RMA number with return instructions. Once we receive the returned merchandise, you'll get a full refund (minus shipping) within approximately 10 business days. For subscriptions, we'll refund your last shipment if it's unsatisfactory.
